FAN is a pioneer for separation technology. In the PET industry the name FAN stands for innovation, quality and reliability. Approved by thousands of installations worldwide. FAN is specialized on its core task and therefore the product range is reduced to the essentials. In addition to established standard products, we also offer innovative solutions for individual requirements. Our actions meet the requirements of the PET industry and we always search for possibilities to continuously improve our competitiveness. FAN covers the demands of this industry and increases the efficiency and reduces costs sustainably!
Processing - washing - separation - sorting - dewatering - further processing - recycling
of raw materials, process media and effluents of all sorts.
The mode of operation of the machine is reduced to the following production steps:
Filtrate – Sediment – Flotate - Centrifugalize – Press
A thorough analysis of the disposal and reuse options for waste produced in PET production can yield valuable insights. The reduction of volume and weight, for example, offers considerable saving potential for landfill and transport costs. Valuable raw materials can also be separated from the waste water and reused. Filtering out abrasive elements (such as sand) can protect your systems from early wear. This results in lower maintenance costs.
Increasing the dry matter content by even just 1% has a significant impact on your disposal costs and will save energy during further processing. An investment in FAN technology will pay for itself very quickly.
A comparison between a chamber filter and cold water press and a PSS 3.2-780 separator from FAN (grey cast iron, frequency inverter control) in plastic recycling yielded the following result:
In the treatment of sludge and rejects, the FAN separator achieves on average a 5% higher DM content. This means a saving of about 100 t of disposal material per year, which corresponds to an annual saving of several thousand euros. A weighty argument in favour of a separator from FAN.
